Mr.Stirling:

Ambient Mode

Release Notes

UI & Usability

●      Page load overlay with instructions — tap anywhere to dismiss

●      Tooltip dot enlarged and more visible

●      Help text updated — Hit play and let it drone highlighted

●      Keyboard shortcuts throughout — play, loop, freeze, granular, pentatonic, drift, pulse, daft-ience, tap tempo, randomise, source select, station prev/next

●      Tooltips on all controls

●      Default state on load — radio selected, granular, drift and pentatonic all active

●      All active modes now preserved when stopping and restarting

●      Soma sampler removed — cleaner, simpler radio-only flow

●      Station list updated — dead streams removed, new stations added including Suburbs of Goa, Thistle Radio, Radio Mantra, The Trip

FX Engine

●      Dry signal now has its own processing chain — soft saturation, slow filter sweep and subtle AM modulation give the source more warmth and character

●      Dry resonator added — tuned to the same root as the pentatonic voices, harmonically tying the dry and wet signals together

●      Granular texture improved — higher default density, ring buffer waits for audio before firing, more presence in the mix

●      Station crossfades improved — slower, more gradual fade down and up, inter-station noise louder and more present

●      Pentatonic voices now slowly morph between four waveforms over time — sine, soft, flute and pad — each voice on an independent cycle

●      Noise source evolves across three colours — pink, brown and blue — with slow ocean-like volume breathing and moving stereo width

Daft-ience Mode

●      Sidechain pump with tap tempo and live BPM display

●      French house filter sweep — beat-synced, evolves rate, tone and character continuously

●      Generative digital percussion layer — pattern, density, timbre and rhythm subdivision all evolve over an 8-bar cycle, with occasional triplets, ratchets, multi-bar dropouts and octave drops

●      Dub stab chain — every 4 bars a pre-duck send spikes into a dark filtered delay and long reverb, floating above the pump unaffected
