China represents one of OMNI's most significant priorities for 2026 and beyond. OMNI has already established an active presence in the Chinese market through its collaboration with Radiance Global AI Hub and SAIFF Shanghai AI Short Film Festivalto deliver OMNI SHANGHAI in March 2026. Through these and other partnerships, our goal is building on that foundation with a growing program of events, collaborations, and activations across the region.

OMNI's approach to China is built on deep local partnership rather than transplanting a Western festival model -- we are here to build something with our Chinese partners, for Chinese audiences and creators, that reflects the energy and ambition of the local creative technology community. Cinema theatres and Educational Centres like Universities are a central part of that vision. Together, we see a long-term program that grows city by city, institution by institution, and positions both organisations at the forefront of AI cinema culture in one of the world's most dynamic creative markets.
