Social Media & Digital Marketing Volunteer - AI Film Festival

About the Role:

You live online. So do we.

This is a practical and experience based volunteer role, designed to rapidly develop alongside our evolving program of cinema. We’re seeking a creative and deeply engaged social media volunteer to support our social channels. TikTok, Instagram, Whatsapp and more. You’ll work closely with the OMNI core team to help expand our digital reach, share stories from our artists and the AI film world, and build excitement toward our next event.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the social media scheduling and content creation (Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, etc.)

  • Edit and repurpose festival content for digital channels

  • Support outreach to filmmakers, communities, and media partners

  • Monitor engagement metrics and suggest new strategies

  • Work with the founders to pitch new campaign ideas—we’re listening

About You:

  • This is critical - An excellent eye for quality

  • Self-motivated and great at deadlines

  • Experience with content creation tools (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, CapCut, etc.)

  • Strong interest in film, media, and Generative AI

  • Familiarity with social scheduling platforms (e.g., Later, Buffer, Meta Studio)

  • Available online with great written communication

  • Bonus: You’ve attended music/art/film festivals

A.I. Film Festival & Programming Volunteer (AI-Focused)

About the Role:

Love film? What about cutting edge tech?

This is a practical and experience based volunteer role, designed to rapidly develop alongside our evolving program of cinema. We are growing the team and looking for volunteers to support our programming, pre-review entries, and helping to find gems- surfacing the very best in AI generated content. This is perfect for someone who loves cinema, curates playlists, understands narrative, and is fascinated by what AI can do for film.

What You’ll Do:

  • Review incoming film submissions and support categorization

  • Assist with metadata, entry tracking, and judging coordination

  • Research new AI films online and communicate with the artists, directors

  • Help manage filmmaker communications and outreach

  • Support logistical planning for screening blocks and panels

  • Work with the founders and judges to contribute ideas to evolve the OMNI lineup

The Skills we are looking for :

Necessary

  • An excellent eye for quality

  • Available for 6-8 hours per week with flexibility around timing

  • Great communication and a collaborative mindset

  • Deep interest in film (bonus if you’ve studied it)

  • Curious and enthusiastic about Generative AI’s role in media

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Bonus:

  • Experience with art, film or music festivals is a plus
