What is OMNI?

OMNI is a global AI First film platform and Internationally focused film festival that connects Creators and Audiences. Our creators are working in the film and production industry and we partner them with AI-driven outcomes, with production, distribution, and paid opportunities. We focus on quality, storytelling, and on sustainable careers for creatives in this emerging and fast changing visual medium.

Who can become an OMNI creator?

OMNI is for filmmakers, artists, technologists, and storytellers working with AI or new creative tools. We look for originality, craft, and strong creative vision rather than a specific background or location.

Do I keep ownership of my work?

Yes. You always keep ownership of your creative skills, style, and underlying IP.

For festival entries, showcases, and most collaborations, you remain the creator and owner of your work.
For commissioned or client-directed projects, ownership of the final deliverables may transfer to OMNI once you’re paid — but this is always agreed in writing before you start. No surprises, no hidden clauses.

Note that films submitted to OMNI film festivals may be showcased for up to ten public screenings.

What kinds of work can I do through OMNI?

Creators can participate in:

  • Paid production projects for Film and Advertising clients

  • Festival screenings and commissions

  • Masterclasses and educational content

  • Distribution and licensing opportunities

You can take part in one or multiple areas.

How does production work?

Our standard process for projects:

  • OMNI or a partner producer manages the client relationship, process tracking, timelines and communication

  • You focus on creating the work

  • Clear briefs, timelines, and fees are agreed upfront

  • You are paid monthly with transparent reporting

  • For works distributed under the OMNI brand, OMNI retains final approval rights, exercised collaboratively and in good faith.

You are never required to take a project you don’t want.

Do I have to speak directly to clients?

Usually no. OMNI or the producer acts as the intermediary so you can stay focused on creative work. Direct interaction only happens if everyone agrees and it is necessary.

How do payments work?

  • Payments are calculated monthly and paid on a standard 60-day cycle, with transparent reporting provided.

  • You receive a clear breakdown of earnings

  • Standard platform, admin, or payment processing fees may apply and are spelled out in our agreements ahead of time

  • You are responsible for your own taxes

What is the revenue split?

In some cases, OMNI will act as the producer.

The standard revenue split would look like this unless otherwise agreed:

  • 50% to the creator

  • 50% to OMNI (covering production and third-party fees unless otherwise agreed in writing)

Splits apply to net revenue after taxes and admin fees.

What about Masterclasses?

Creators may offer live or recorded Masterclasses through OMNI.

  • You earn 50% of net revenue

  • Recorded Masterclass content is exclusive to OMNI for 12 months from first being available on the platform.

  • Creators may continue teaching elsewhere, provided the OMNI masterclass content itself is not reused, re-cut, or republished during the exclusivity period.

Can I work with other platforms or clients?

Yes.

OMNI is not a full exclusivity arrangement. You’re free to work elsewhere unless a specific project or Masterclass requires exclusivity, which will always be clearly stated.

Trust is important to us at OMNI, so our work practices, payment terms, and similar information are to be considered private and confidential and not shared with competitors.

How long is the agreement?

  • Standard term is 12 months

  • Option to renew by mutual agreement

  • Either party can end the agreement with 30 days’ notice.

Are there geographic restrictions?

Some projects or payments may involve regional tax or compliance requirements. These are handled transparently and discussed upfront.

What does OMNI expect from creators?

  • Professionalism and respect for deadlines

  • High-quality creative work

  • Open and consistent communication

  • Creators consent to standard editorial and promotional use of their work in line with applicable moral rights laws.

We believe in long-term relationships, not one-off transactions.

What does OMNI provide?
