We’re opening the doors to a brand-new OMNI edition
—OMNI MINI: SOUNDS 2026—
A one-night showcase dedicated to the next generation of AI-driven music videos. Thanks to the remarkably generous support of (AN ANONYMOUS DONOR), all film submission fees have been completely waived for this edition. ANONYMOUS DONORS generous backing makes it possible for creators everywhere to experiment boldly and submit freely.
On January 9th, 2026, we’re taking over a secret venue in Chippendale, Sydney for an evening of live AI-powered performances, exploratory sound, and cutting-edge generative music videos from around the world. Presented by OMNI International AI Film Festival this special edition brings together sound and vision and live local energy in one intimate, future-focused room.
We’re now accepting AI-generated music videos from all countries. Whether your work leans cinematic, experimental or fully abstract, we would love to see it. A special guest Judge will join the OMNI TEAM to present two unique awards.

The sold out event presented a curated selection of the best AI assisted films of today, along with a live discussion with members from the OMNI 1.0 judging panel, OMNI creators, and industry experts who discussed technology and creativity and the evolving language of cinema.
The guests stayed well into the night beyond the panel discussion, sharing insights and reflections on what they experienced, overwhelmingly in agreement that "seeing is believing" when it comes to the OMNI presentation of what quality in Generative Cinema can be

OMNI is an International, Biannual film festival, a snapshot of what is possible in the world of Generative and Artificial Intelligence-powered video and film creation. Created in December 2024 with a vision for surfacing and spotlighting quality in this newly emerging form, the festival is focused on bringing global independent International stories to live audiences.
This creative area is quickly evolving and OMNI are committed to continually showcase the very best as the medium continues to grow. In the spirit of the connected internet, OMNI is an international festival, open to works from around the globe.

OMNI 0.5: Visions of Tomorrow, April 2025
Our first edition, OMNI: 0.5 “Visions of Tomorrow”, took place in Sydney, Australia on April 29th to a sold out crowd. We invite you to have a look at the winning entries and explore what was created through the evolving language of AI, filmmaking, technology, and creativity.
